This is a social kennel where dogs go out to play with their compatible friends four or five times a day. When they are not out playing (a total of 4 or more hours), they are resting or napping in their private dens with their snugglie (a towel or blankie from home) and a toy or bone (from home), conversing with cabin mates and listening to music.
Play units are no more than ten friends and usually fewer. The outside play areas are designed to be mentally stimulating and encourage dog interaction. Wandering off to a quiet corner, gazing at flora and fauna, is also an option.
Your pet’s stay is all inclusive with:
- Hug Therapy
- Playtime and Group Activities and “kong-times” (when you supply the kong and stuffing)
- Water Activities
- Bedtime Turn-down cookies and story or song times with YOUR pet’s name in the song or story
- Daily Housekeeping
- DAP Therapy
Activities costing extra are:
- Birthday Pawties by “The Big Biscuit”(usually for your camper’s “unit”- 4 or 5 other friends. Please give us 10 days’ notice to coordinate this very special “production”)
- Leash walks
- Massage Therapy
- Reikki
- Special Transportation Requests
- Special Food or Medication Requests (medication $.20 per dose, multiple medications will require you to purchase a pill box suitable for daily/weekly distribution)
* In order to foster the calming atmosphere of a familiar pack, we do not offer day care. New camper comings and goings are carefully monitored and arranged to have the least disruptive effect on each unit.
