As with all kennels, immunizations must be up to date including Kennel cough (Bordetella) at least TWO WEEKS BEFORE your pet’s boarding date.
Our preference is for Bordetella to be given every six months especially the intranasal. Our experience is that administering bordetella on a routine basis alleviates an owner’s panic in un-anticipated or emergency situations where boarding becomes a necessity.
Bordatella and Leptosporosis MUST BE REQUESTED SPECIFICALLY from your local Veterinarian. They will not administer them unless asked.
Distemper,Hepatitis, Parvo and Parainfluenza plus Rabies, must also be certified by your local Vet’s paperwork.
Certain conditions may preclude some of these vaccinations in which case your Vet’s written documentation will suffice.
All campers must be on regular Heartworm and Flea Prevention Programs and under the care of a local Veterinarian.
